Here’s Mars from last night. Conditions were fair with a pesky jet stream that didn’t let up. Nevertheless, not a bad view of the red planet and some morning haze still stretching nearly into the Eden region. The South Polar Hood (SPH) is slowly disappearing. Also, there is a bright cloud over Argyre. That region usually gives the appearance of a dust storm at first glance, but this is oddly bright in Blue/UV light, so maybe it’s just some dense morning fog, or possible a small duststorm.
